Mothers are undeniably the heart of the kitchen and the household. 

Between balancing architectural plans at work and whipping up something half-edible in the kitchen, I try to keep things fun. I mean, if a recipe bombs, at least I’ve got a funny story and let’s just say there’ve been more than a few smoke-alarm moments.

As a mom, I understand how all mothers feel, busy, exhausted, that’s why I want to share what has helped me balance my responsibilities as a young, inexperienced woman juggling work inside and outside the home. Mothers are undeniably the heart of the kitchen and the household. 

So, if you’re like me, searching for delicious meals with minimal prep time, you’re in exactly the right place.

When Decor Blueprints Met Dinner Breakthroughs

 You know, it’s kinda wild that I spend my weekdays designing spaces and tinkering with layouts as a décor engineer, and then come home to juggle dinner prep, homework chaos, and the occasional meltdown over missing socks. Let’s face it, life’s never dull around here.

I never thought I’d end up so passionate about cooking. Growing up, my grandma essentially ran her own five-star kitchen (in a tiny farmhouse, mind you), and she taught me that a pinch of salt is more a matter of feeling than an exact measurement. Factually, I still eyeball it 90% of the time. My husband always jokes that I should start measuring with actual spoons, but hey, if Grandma said this is how we roll, who am I to argue?

For my two kiddos, well, they’re the toughest critics I know. One minute, they’ll inhale a new pasta dish like it’s the best thing since pizza, and the next, they’re side-eyeing my kale salad like I’m trying to sneak something suspicious onto their plates. (Spoiler: I usually am, it’s called “vegetables.”) But what can you do? It’s all part of the adventure.
